Summary
This proposal recommends we bridge the Akita inu token to Arbitrum, further expanding our presence on Arbitrum.

Background
There was a snapshot for bridging Akita to Solana. The participants voted against the Solana move. That’s why we this proposal is raised, to see if Arbitrum has more support.

Approach
The token will be bridged using the official Arbitrum bridge. No custom build needed.

Budget
Total: $55K
Liquidity: 50K total ($25K Akita and $25K Eth).
Configuration and support: $5K for any necessary configuration and support to get this done.

Timeline
Akita should be live on Arbitrum as soon as possible.

  1. Discourse discussion: Raise for voting on Snapshot as soon as this post has 5 :heart:
  2. Voting: 3 days.
  3. Execution: Should start no later than a week after the voting is done.

Voting options

  • Yes: Bridge Akita to Arbitrum
  • No: Significant change is required before the proposal is put up for voting again.
  • Abstain.

There is a growing audience of traders on Arbitrum and meme coins have already solidified as part of their culture.

I think there will likely be future ways that AKITA and HACHI can work together to support each other on Arbitrum.

If we are briding AKITA to ARB . There should be another twap started to convert AKITA to ETH for liquidity pool .

Actually, DAO has 25+25 funding for it . But starting another twap to generate more ETH would be good

a TWAP is now active for 3 weeks, this is projected to yield ~$25K worth of ETH.

Update on this – we are waiting to hear back a quote on fixing AKITA on Avalanche, and we’ve asked them to include an option for also bringing AKITA to Arbitrum.
