Summary
Let’s have a lottery every day from December 11 to December 31. To be eligible you need to have bought Akita or Hachi in December 2023 and still hold it on the day and time of the lottery.

The DAO stewards will define the list of lottery rewards. This lottery has a maximum reward budget of 500 000 Hachi (0,5% of the total supply) and 30 billion Akita.

The rewards will be distributed manually by the stewards. Stewards can’t participate in the lottery.

Execution
DAO stewards make the list of rewards and select the winner(s) on daily basis.

The only action needed to participate in the lottery is to buy Akita or Hachi on Uniswap/Traderjoe from December 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 (and to keep the tokens in the same wallet on the day of the lottery).
Anyone who is buying new tokens in December and staking their LP in the Hachiko-100 rewards program should still be eligible for winning too.

Rewards will be distributed to your wallet manually. The stewards sending the reward to your address will not require any information from you (beware of scams, ok?) and will simply send the reward to the same wallet address you bought the tokens with.

Stewards can’t participate in the lottery as they are involved in selecting the winning participants.

60% of the lottery items are rewarded to Akita buyers. The remaining 40% are rewarded to Hachi buyers.

Budget
This lottery has a maximum reward budget of 500 000 Hachi (0,5% of the total supply) and 30 billion Akita.

Looks like that we only need to figure out rewards.
Buy one HACHI and get one HACHI back. So, this means that there would be prizes for 500k HACHI.

As long as you fit the rewards within the total budget, you don’t really have to discuss what each and every reward will be. That’s a practical matter that can be handled outside the proposal.

Some days you could do a fixed price reward, regardless of how much the person bought. Other days you could multiply the amount they bought, or send out rewards to many people.

Keep in mind it says maximum 500K & 30B though.

It’s saying 500K so you can beat on your marketing drum Amir :). Again, this is a maximum amount. Adjust the daily amounts based on participation.

Lottery results should be decided by a Wheel of Addresses or something with RNG involved. Results should be documented and accessible to anyone who asks.

Cons/drawbacks should be considered, primarily any token harvesters who are then looking to sell off immediately.

How is the DAO notifying the daily winners?

Is there an allocated promotional budget for this?

Yes, anyone can sell once they win. That’s why I recommended a lottery instead of of staking or “buy one get one” initiatives. I think a lottery is less attractive to those people as they have to rely more on luck and have to hold on to the tokens to participate in the event.

Winning addresses are pinned in Telegram and X. No DMs.

No marketing budget specific to this event.

Is there a specific time of day when transaction fees would be lower than any other time of day?

This past month does anyone know the average amount for the fees? So that we can have a better idea of the reward amounts

Send to only 1-5 people per day and you won’t really have to be too concerned about gas :fuelpump:

we can use an app in the SAFE that allows for a CSV file to be uploaded and batch send them in one transaction to be most efficient.

Anyone who is buying new tokens and staking their LP in the Hachiko-100 rewards program should still be eligible for winning, too. Those tokens won’t appear in their wallet. This will probably be very minimal, and its easy to track based on the LP contracts
